Extended deadline for abstract submission: 1st June 2018.

The 31st ICTCT Conference will be held in Porto, Portugal on 25th-26th October 2018, under the main topic On the track of future urban mobility: safety, human factors and technology.
The objective of the conference is to support the understanding of future trends in urban mobility and their implications for the safety of all road users. An important aspect in this respect is that technological developments must go hand in hand with users’ acceptance and behaviour. Therefore, we are interested in studies analysing topics such as the role of human factors in road safety and how technology advancement in urban transportation can influence road users and vice versa. Contributions featuring innovative methods and tools for the assessment of road safety and the reduction of the impacts of road crashes in cities, particularly focusing on vulnerable road users, are also welcomed.
